The Malt House Emporium Ltd was established in 2014. We opened our doors on the 19th November 2014 in an unused and empty Victorian building with just a handful of dealers and the unshakeable determination that we would be bucking the trend of dreary and tired Antique Centres, to create something new, exciting and innovative. Within 3 months of opening we had grown to over 45 dealers and expanded into the 1st floor. We’d had our first visit from TV’s Paul Laidlaw and the Antique Road Trip crew and were serving coffee & cake in our temporary tea room. We were soon seen as market leaders and have since seen growth every year and continued to appeal to a wider audience. Late 2017 we relocated to a new venue in Ashchurch, with over 70 traders into a modern building purposely fitted out for our purposes. We did not wish to leave Stroud, and had only intended to expand to Tewkesbury, but after sadly being given notice on our thriving building we completed a full relocation. We intend to extend back to Stroud as soon as a suitable site is found. We have many plans for the future of the Malt House Emporium Ltd.
