In 2003 Jack moved his flourishing business to Leamington Spa, Warwickshire and began trading from the buildings on his own farm. The vast stocks of antique British, French and Swedish country furniture are housed within a 10,000 square feet purpose built warehouse. Although Jack specializes in original Georgian pine furniture, antique oak furniture, French provincial antique furniture and original painted Swedish Gustavian furniture he also stocks an eclectic mix of items that often include old scrubbed pine tables from Dorset farm houses, painted dresser bases from ancient manor houses combined with butcher’s blocks to form unique unfitted kitchens. Period oak chest of drawers from the Welsh valleys sit alongside subtly painted antique buffets from Sweden. Beautifully polished French cherry wood farm tables mix with early pieces of antique pine furniture from the west of England. Original painted commodes and antique oak dresser bases mingle with painted bookcases, mirrors and antique dressers that have been sourced from all over Europe. Every piece of antique furniture in the huge assortment of stock has been carefully hand picked by Jack himself, on his regular buying trips around the UK and the continent. Where necessary the items in the showrooms have been fully restored with meticulous care in the onsite workshops by experienced and talented craftsmen.
