Dorthe is a German national but is very proficient in speaking and understanding English. She brings a wealth of experience and skills to the business and is predominantly responsible for controlling costs and the business reporting. Strategy, Sales & Marketing are jointly shared by both Dorthe and Phil, whilst Phil is mainly responsible for the day to day operations of the garage. Phil brings over 25 years of sales and marketing experience from his previous employment to the business and they both very much look forward to welcoming new and existing customers to their garage. We know how it feels when going to a garage (a bit like going to the dentist - you're never quite sure what they're going to find and quite often it turns out very expensive!) which is why we ask our mechanics to give our customers plain and simple explanations to help them understand any issues - technical jargon doesn't help! As with anything in life, it is much harder to give bad news than it is to give good news. We belief that regular servicing of vehicles helps to prevent the giving of bad news, although by the very nature of mechanical things, they sometimes break down unexpectedly. But polite and friendly service costs nothing and how well we treat our customers will eventually determine our success!''
