The practice was established by Christopher Brummitt in 1995 expanding our established social housing specialism to cover every aspect of housing provision both private [masterplanning, estate layout and detailed house design] and public [HA/LA: HCA funded]- with over 30 years’ experience. Isos Housing, Home Group, Miller Homes, Four Housing Group, Keepmoat Homes, Barratt Newcastle, DAMHA, Dunelm Homes, Bellway Homes, Persimmon Group [Persimmon Homes NE, Yorkshire, NW, Teesside, Charles Church] and Northumberland Estates continue to be regular clients with whom we have a confident working relationship. Our range of work has grown, extending the practice year on year, through referrals and repeat work with national and EU bluechip clients: with inward investment planning, industrial + office design, interiors, re-fits, industrial/ commercial site appraisals and feasibility work, masterplanning, development work for care providers, farm estate development/ diversification, site/ business remodelling, veterinary and GP practices within our portfolio of over 1000 projects. The practice acts as consultant to several independent and private housing and commercial developers, currently with sites at Blyth, Widdrington Station, Acklington, Lesbury, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, Bedlington, Ponteland, Seaham, Stocksfield, Leeds, Easington, Wooler, Belford, Middlesbrough, Filey, Stockton, Tynedale and Calderdale.
