MOT Class's we can carry out:
Class 4: Cars, Light vans, Ambulances and taxis, Private Passenger Vehicles (9-12 Passenger Seats).
Class 5: Private Passenger Vehicles (13+ Passenger Seats, such as minibuses).
Class 7: Goods vehicles (over 3,000 kg up to 3,500 kg DGW).
Services Available:
Inspection only Service - Recommended interval: before a significantly long journey. We offer an inspection only service, with this we carry out a thorough vehicle inspection, checking up to 155 items on the vehicle, such as lights, fluids & mechanical components throughout the vehicle, we then perform a Road Test, no items are changed during this service unless required with your permission, purely visual checks.
Oil & Filter Change - Recommended interval: 6 months or 6000 miles. This service includes; Oil change & Oil Filter only.
Interim Service - Recommended interval: 12 months or 12,000 miles. This service includes; Oil change, Oil Filter & Cabin Filter, with fluids topped up if required plus tyres & brakes are also checked.
Full Service - Recommended interval: 24 months or 24,000 miles. The Major Service is our most comprehensive car service which includes everything needed in an interim Service as above. In addition, we change parts recommended for replacement every two years including a brake fluid change, Fuel filter(if fitted), air filter, as well as spark plugs on a petrol engine if required by age or mileage. We also check brakes (pads & discs all round, or if older style drum brakes are fitted, we disassemble these and clean them up) as well as tyres, we will also inspect various other components thoroughly whilst the vehicle is in the air. all fluids levels are also checked and topped up if required. This service should be carried out every other year, in place of an interim Service.

At Vulcan Motors, we can perform a full vehicle inspection to ascertain whether there is indeed a fault and advise how we can remedy it, and and what cost to you, for Vehicle Diagnostics we can also plug our diagnostic system into the vehicles ECU to detect any faults that may be lurking somewhere out of plain sight. We have fully qualified auto electricians who are able to assess any ecu issues that may be present.
