Vega is an independent occupational hygiene consultancy located in the North East of England which was established in 1989 by Ed Brown, our Technical Director. We provide our customers with a comprehensive range of Occupational Hygiene Services to ensure that their working environments meet the appropriate standards and that staff exposures to workplace physical, biological and chemical agents are effectively controlled. We hold accreditation from UKAS for specific services that we provide. This is essential to assure our customers that the services are being delivered by competent, qualified and experienced staff. These factors in turn ensure that our customers’ workplaces are certified as conforming to standard and are safe for staff to work in. Vega invests in continuous training for its staff and can deliver awareness training across all of its competencies to its customers’ staff if required. Our staff are appropriately qualified and experienced consultants, analysts, technicians and surveyors holding proficiency certification from the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS), and the Cleanroom Testing and Certification Board International (CTCB-I). We are quality assured with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certification so that our customers understand our continued commitment to high quality procedures and to a sustainable approach to our work.
