Jonathan and Sarah welcome you to The Grange, a beautiful Georgian Farmhouse offering luxury Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering Cottages, set in picturesque rural countryside on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The farm, which has been in the family for five generations is a haven of peace and tranquillity, which makes an ideal place to relax and enjoy yourself, away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. This Lincolnshire accommodation is conveniently located within easy reach of the historic city of Lincoln with its splendid Cathedral and Castle, the coast with its wide-open sandy beaches is only 40 minutes away and centrally located also, for visiting the traditional market towns like Louth, Horncastle, Market Rasen and Alford.
Guests visiting the B and B and Cottages can enjoy the award-winning farm trail which is a treat in all seasons with its abundance of wildlife. Try trout fishing on our own lake, or simply sit at the water’s edge and watch the sun go down, or for the more energetic a game of tennis on our hard court. Being on the edge of the Wolds, this is a great location for walking and cycling. We can organise chalk stream fishing, riding and walking, or land on our grass airstrip for those aviators wanting a base to stay.
The farm has three B and B rooms which can be used solely or in conjunction with the self-catering properties for larger parties. Each Bedroom has been appointed with your comfort in mind. Enjoy views across the peaceful countryside towards Lincoln cathedral.
Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room with its far-reaching views over the fields. We pride ourselves on the excellence of our aga cooked breakfasts, offering a variety of local and home-made produce.
Enjoy a selection of our own free-range eggs, and from our local butcher, locally cured bacon and speciality Lincolnshire sausages. Even the tomatoes and mushrooms are sourced locally. As an alternative, our guests can enjoy kippers from Grimsby docks. In our homemade bread, we use flours from local windmills, Alford and Kirton Lindsay. To finish off we offer homemade marmalades and Lincolnshire honey.
