My role as therapist is to provide a confidential, non-judgemental, empathic, genuine, honest and challenging relationship in which you can explore all aspects of your psychological life. At SHED Counselling you will have the opportunity to examine your emotional life and your thinking including those aspects that you may not have looked at before. Uncovering more of yourself will enable you to explore new choices and discover new potential. I can offer individual counselling and relationship or couples counselling. As a qualified counsellor I have a diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy and an Advanced Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Person-Centred Therapists from the University of Warwick. I also have an advanced diploma in person-centred couples counselling undertaken at Counselling Works (based in Milton Keynes). I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their ethical guidelines. For my placement training I worked at Psychological Services at Coventry NHS and for the West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre (WMRC) at Birmingham South NHS.
