We believe architecture and the built environment shapes the lives of it's users. Good architecture goes beyond just meeting functional needs and offers its' users experiences of the environment that not only surprise and delight, but are also rooted in their place. Buildings also have a responsibility not to contribute any significant harm upon the environment, whether that be it terms of their emissions or their impact on neighbouring buildings and external spaces. The design process is an exploratory exercise. We put a great deal of effort into understanding not only our clients and users needs, but also the opportunities offered by the site and surrounding context, the potential environmental and construction strategies. We champion a collaborative design process and welcome working with others, not only clients and communities, but also engineers, environmental designers, manufacturers and builders. It is only by going through this collaborative process that an architectural solution can be found that goes beyond everyones expectations
