Janine is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with more than 30 years experience in child, adult and family mental health. After qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist and working in NHS teaching hospitals, Janine spent 15 years as a as both a research psychologist and psychotherapist, specialising in assessment and psychotherapy with parents experiencing a wide range of difficulties in caring for their children. Janine’s research interest is development of a diagnostic assessment model for parents in Care Proceedings. Linda has worked as an Adult Mental Health Chartered Clinical Psychologist for the past 33 years within the NHS, with Local Authorities and private practice. Over the past 15 years, her interests have focused primarily on the impact of psychological and learning difficulties on parenting capacity, including the development of assessment procedures and specific focused therapeutic strategies. Linda’s main research interest is the psychological profiling of individuals found to have caused physical injuries to their babies
