The Nanny & Au Pair Connection was started in 1989 by the present owner Carole Payne, herself an au pair in Paris where she studied French at the Sorbonne. Carole later worked as a PA in Paris for a further 6 years and speaks fluent French. Carole and family lived for 6 years in Saudi Arabia where she employed nannies and, on returning to the UK employed au pairs for her two boys. On returning to the UK Carole decided to start her own au pair agency as she had worked previously as a Recruitment Consultant.
