Outside and fully enclosed are two soft play areas together with a large field sized play space. In addition to this we have a play space that is untouched by a lawn mower so that the children can access ground that is not manicured for their enjoyment but is a natural play environment (sometimes termed the forest school). The nursery is surrounded by woodland and the children are encouraged to take an interest in their surroundings – we will have a bird table which encourages the wild bird and squirrel population; we already have regular visits to the garden from Grey Squirrels The nursery inside is like Dr Who’s Tardis, in as much as from the front it looks like a small row of cottages. Go to the rear and it becomes immediately apparent that this is a big building. We are approved (because of the size of the building) for 80 full time children – although we restrict numbers to a maximum of seventy two so as to maintain a less crowded atmosphere.
