The Shell Green Estate, in Widnes, was originally purchased in 1964 and buildings were erected to produce a specialist range of agricultural fertilisers specifically for grassland farmers. The site has since been converted into warehouses and office units, which are tenanted out. The Gartshore Building, on the harbour at Perth, was purchased as a base to import fertilisers and lime for onward distribution throughout Scotland. This warehouse has held had a variety of products over the years including car exhausts, timber frame units and coaches for a coach hire company.
