Founded in 2001 as a home based/mobile therapist, K2U Therapies moved to its first premises in 2011, relocating to the beautiful area of Blackwell Lane in 2017. The emphasis is on holistic health and well-being, beginning with a full consultation. The treatment menu features many of the popular therapies including Maternity wellbeing, alongside the less well known Daoyin Tao® (Chinese acupressure) and Reproductive Reflexology & Baby Reflexology. Having taught therapies in local colleges since 2002, Kathryn Robinson realised the next part of her dream in February 2012, becoming accredited as a training academy for the awarding body, Vocational Training Charitable Trust, (VTCT) developing and delivering Level 3 qualifications in many Complementary therapies, taught over a period of time to meet the needs of the student and the criteria of the awarding body. Various study methods are used including Skype theory sessions for those unable to attend the training centre although attendance is mandatory for practical skills.
