Martyn Abbott joined the crew in 1985 and was trained by Andrew hoy and frank and quickly gained a good reputation of being an excellent barber who has developed his skills through working with some talented hair dressers and barbers, who have joined and left the shop over the years. i feel you can always learn a little something from everyone you meet in this profession, whether they are more experienced than you or less, new techniques new styles. Everyone can bring something different!†He also went on to train many apprentices over the 25 years most going on to further their own careers either in their own shops or working in the trade for other people. Frank finally retired in the December of 2008 and Martyn took over the reigns and has ran the shop ever since keeping the same principles that has made Jacksons such a success over the last 46 years.
