DC Hairdressing is owned and managed by myself, Danielle Carver- I am a professional freelance hairdresser based in the East Midlands. My main client base is situated in Ilkeston and I cover all surrounding areas, up to and including Swanwick, Alfreton, Ripley, Ockbrook, Eastwood, Sandiacre, Long Eaton, I travel further afield for weddings. I have over 13 years experience and I am fully qualified to Level 2 and 3 in Hairdressing and Barbering, including an advanced Diploma in Hairdressing, graduating at Nottingham University. During my time at college I won a hairdressing competition and gained experience working with makeup artists and photographers on photo shoots. I am friendly, reliable and highly recommended within the Nottingham/Derby areas; I only use the very best quality products on all my clients. I have experienced working in small town salons as a self-employed stylist to working in a busy city centre salon in Nottingham. Previous to me starting my own mobile business, my hairdressing career began in 2002 at The Worx, based in Ilkeston, here I started my NVQ apprenticeship and once qualified became a self-employed stylist within the salon, gaining vast experience and building a long standing clientele. In 2009 I trained to become an assessor and took the position offered by an academy in Nottingham, here I trained and assessed NVQ apprentices to level 2 and 3 in hairdressing and barbering, then gaining a qualification in teaching through Warwick University.
