Laura qualified with an MSc Physiotherapy degree from the University of Birmingham, having previously attained a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Laura has since worked in both private clinics and NHS hospitals in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Avon mostly in musculoskeletal out-patients and also in orthopaedic in-patient services. Laura has a particular interest in the upper limb and, as a member of the British Association of Hand Therapists, has a specialism in hand therapy. Laura has worked with elite sportsmen and women, and as part of a team, provides physiotherapy services for the Lawn Tennis Association at international professional tournaments held in Great Britain. Laura is a registered tennis coach and holds her Lawn Tennis Association Club Coach Award (CCA). The LTA has supported her to develop skills on technical analysis, the biomechanics of tennis players and sports specific screening of young tennis players to compliment her role as a physiotherapist.
