Andy graduated from the University of the West of England as a physiotherapist in 2005. He began a career working with the musculoskeletal problems of mental health patients. Since 2005 Andy has worked only with patients who have the most complicated of physical problems. Solving the problems posed by patients who have not been able to find a solution to their physical problems through the standard process of physiotherapists, pain clinics and surgeons. Shortly after graduating in 2005 Andy retrained in movement impairment physiotherapy through Shirley Sahrmann and Diane Lee. It has been this method which has proved so effective. Andy Specialises in the sort of pain called insidious onset pain. Pain which did not begin from a particular incident but it slowly built up over time. This sort of pain is best treated by addressing the subtleties of the way in which a person is mechanically functioning.
