I do not tell you what to do or give advice, but I will help you to explore and reflect on your life and relationships and help you to make your own choices. I provide a regular time for meeting and a safe space where you can talk in confidence. I provide once-weekly one to one ongoing psychodynamic counselling, each session lasting 50 minutes, and can provide counselling sessions over a short or longer period of time according to individual needs which may develop and change as the counselling proceeds. The regular sessions provide an opportunity to explore recurring patterns of behaviour and relationships, and enables problems and distress to be explored that may have originated in early life experiences. I have been trained to a depth and breadth of clinical experience to work with individual adults of all ages, backgrounds and diversity. I vary the intensity and focus of the work to suit individual needs. Sometimes a fixed number of sessions may be agreed in the initial consultation if it is more appropriate for your needs than open ended work and I can work with Cognitive Behavioural Techniques (CBT) where required.
