Chartered Physiotherapists undergo a 3-4 year degree level training and are qualified to work within the NHS. They work in a wide variety of health settings such as intensive care, mental health, stroke recovery, care of the elderly as well orthopaedics and rheumatology within a Hospital or the Community. The majority physiotherapists who work in private practice tend to specialize in musculoskeletal problems (joint, ligament, tendon, muscle, back/neck pain, sports injuries).
