Anrich has been established for 35 years and our Dog Grooming Academy offers courses based within our veterinary hospital environment. Alongside our school, we run a busy working salon with a team of 5 groomers offering quality grooms and great customer service.

You will be grooming dogs all day as over the years we have built up our Elite model club of dogs which enables you to practice a variety of different styles and cuts appropriate to the breed, and you will learn all the different techniques and dog handling skills. Our hand strip club also enables students to practice the art of hand stripping.
Our courses have something to suit everyone. Our full time 25-day professional dog grooming diploma course is very popular and gives you the option to achieve a City and Guilds certificate. We will teach you all you need to know to enable you to go on and become a Professional Dog Groomer. You will receive maximum care and support from our qualified tutors based within our modern open plan friendly training salon.
Professional Diploma in Dog Grooming Course – 5 Weeks:
The full-time professional Dog Grooming training course is Monday to Friday for 5 weeks and is our most popular course, as upon completion you'll be fully competent to start working as a dog groomer straight away.
This course is very thorough, and you will leave us with a portfolio and information pack covering every aspect of the course combined with advertising, running your own business, a guide to equipment care, animal healthcare and first aid.
Also, you'll receive a separate certificate for the Animal First Aid course so you will leave us fully equipped. The course curriculum gives you the option to achieve a City and Guilds certificate. This Dog Grooming Course is very popular so please book in advance.
Introduction to Dog Grooming Course - 2 Weeks:
This course is an ideal dog grooming course for beginners who would like to take the first initial steps into the world of Dog Grooming and become a Canine Beautician. We structure the course carefully and enable you to learn the basic practical skills of Dog Grooming and handling as well as the theory side of grooming.
