The front door of the Old Barn leads into a large well equipt kitchen (complete with a four-door aga). There is a table with seating for 10. To the side of the kitchen are a cloakroom/utility room and downstairs loo. Leading on from the kitchen is a stunning triple-height drawing-room, the gallery above this has wonderful views down the valley and opens on to private decking complete with hot tub, barbecue and garden furniture. A corner of the gallery is used as a snug, with a comfy sofa.
The first bedroom is on the ground floor, it has a super king-size bed and ensuite shower room as well as a beautiful sunroom complete with comfy divans (the sunroom opens up on to a small private terrace and lawn). Above is a bedroom with a king-size bed – this is connected to the family bathroom and has its own balcony with views down the valley. Up in the beams of the barn is a cozy twin bedroom.
At the opposite end of the building is the Family Suite. This contains a large bedroom (which opens up on to the decking and has views across the valley) with a super king-size bed, a dressing room and an ensuite shower room. Above the Master bedroom is another twin bedroom/playroom. It is accessed through the main bedroom but is completely separate and has two full-sized twin beds.
Coulscott’s second-largest luxury property with five bedrooms sleeping nine people (plus 2 cots). This was the grand extension built about 200 years ago to the front of the original early farmhouse. It has a secret door linking its Dining Room to the Kitchen of The Old Farmhouse. The two properties can thus be taken together and will sleep between them fifteen people (plus 2 cots in each house).
The front door and entrance hall of The Georgian House are flanked by large, beautifully decorated, Dining and Sitting rooms. Above these are two big double bedrooms each with en suite facilities and with windows commanding wonderful views down the valley. Between them is a tiny but delightful room with a single bed built-in under the large window and with the same view.
The remainder of the house is to the rear and has smaller, older, beamed rooms. The hallway leads back to a utility room and loo and then into a snug and thence to the large well-equipped kitchen complete with long kitchen table and seating. To the front of the kitchen is the enormous garden room with wide glass doors opening onto the terrace.
The luxurious Old Farmhouse is the original house on the site with a number of features including old beams and a listed staircase believed to date from the Sixteenth Century. It has its own south-facing lawn and terrace with table, seating, barbecue and hot-tubs all with extensive views.
The huge and spectacular kitchen is built around a large island unit topped with a big slab of marble. With washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, 5 hob Range cooker with double oven.
A secret door links to the Georgian House so that both can be taken together.
Leading off the kitchen is a large L-shaped room Sitting and Dining areas with wood-burning stove and a minstrel’s gallery above, with comfortable settees, a dining table and chairs. There is a TV, DVD and Apple TV with Netflix.
