I have been practising acupuncture in Totnes since moving to the South West in 2012. I came here to be closer to nature, the moors and the sea, and to live in a friendly, vibrant community. I trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, in Reading and qualified in 2011. My training course encompassed both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five element styles of acupuncture. This integration of styles enables me to target specific problems as well as treating on a deeper constitutional level. I hold a Licentiate (LicAc) and a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and adhere to a strict code of professional standards and safe practice. I have an ongoing commitment to continuing professional development; regularly participating in courses to broaden my skills and knowledge. I have also volunteered as an acupuncturist overseas and have worked in community clinics in both Burma and India. These experiences continue to influence me and inspire the way I practice back in Totnes.
