After graduating he worked in the NHS acquiring the prestigious position of Consultant Osteopath. Due to the volume of patients seen and the assortment of their presenting conditions, he gained a wealth of clinical knowledge in general practice during this time. Shortly after this, due to his sharp clinical expertise he was quickly head-hunted to work in London’s world reknowned, prestigious medical district – Harley Street. Rishi’ s special interests include: complicated spinal conditions – pre and post surgical, spinal conditions acute and chronic, headaches, frozen shoulder syndrome as well as Ergonomics. In 2005 Rishi won the Prince of Wales Foundation for Integrated Health Futures Award, which was given in acknowledgement of his excellent work providing Osteopathy and Acupuncture within a GP surgery. His broad clinical experience and strong academic grounding has ensured that Mr Meetaroo’s approach to his patients is all-encompassing, open-minded and holistic. He is approachable and highly regarded by both patients and medical colleagues. A firm advocate of CPD Rishi regularly attends courses to update his skills and keep abreast of current developments in the world of medicine and Osteopathy. He is regarded as an expert in mechanical spinal disorders and mechanical shoulder problems, this is therefore reflected in his specialties and often lectures on these subjects to fellow medical colleagues.
