Competition Time: After receiving a fizzy cocktail each, the bartender demonstrates to the guests how to use the equipment and make two different styles of cocktails, guests are then invited up to have a go themselves. Their efforts are then marked by the bartender. The bartender can be cruel or kind, it all depends on what mood they're in... Scores for the first round are taken and then two-by-two guests are invited up to create their very own cocktail under the pressure of the watching crowd. The guests are allowed to use ingredients from the bar and will be marked not only their resulting creations but also on the demonstration of their understanding of what they've learned. The winner will receive a prize. Duration: 2-3 hours. Suggested number: 6-12 Can be played individually or in teams.
The Story of Cocktails: For those groups of you who are interested in the history and the ever-changing faces of cocktails, this package takes you through the history of cocktails decade by decade. For each stop on the timeline, the bartender will make a signature cocktail from the era to try amongst your group. From Old Fashioneds to Bloody Marys to Pina Coladas to Negronis, you will be taken on a journey through the decades. Duration: 2-4 hours. Suggested number: No limit.
