Your treatments take place within the peace and comfort of your own home, enabling you to enjoy the feeling of relaxation and wellbeing and allowing you to rest afterwards, giving you the chance to enjoy all the benefits of the therapy. As I bring everything I need with me, all you need to do is enjoy the relaxation... with no need for you to drive home afterwards! Every treatment is tailored to you as an individual and within the context of your own lifestyle and health - I will always consult with you beforehand to allow me to help address any changes in either. Complementary Therapy is not an alternative to medical advice, and as a Complementary Therapist I will always work alongside any advice given to you by your medical practitioner. Treatments are holistic, which means that the "whole person" is treated i.e. mind body and spirit. It is said that 75% of patients in a GP surgery are suffering with stress or stress-related illnesses, and so there is great benefit to be gained by pursuing deep relaxation in the form of therapies such as Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Reiki. As your body relaxes, it is able to rebalance and heal, and so often many conditions may improve. But each individual person will experience their own benefits, as we are all different! A full consultation is an integral part of any initial treatment, to ensure the treatment is appropriate for you, and also that it is tailored specifically for you. I will never diagnose or claim to cure, and will always refer you to your GP if appropriate.
