After graduating with a degree in economics, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 at a medium sized firm of Chartered Accountants in London becoming a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), by far the largest regulatory body for accountants in the UK. Deloittes, PwC, KPMG, Ernst & Young are all members of the ICAEW so I’m in good company! I subsequently worked in the City for 15 years providing financing solutions for some household names including British Airways, BAA, BP, National Express, P&O, Disney and Miramax. The financial crisis of 2008 (which doesn’t seem to have finished quite yet!) gave me the opportunity get out of the City and start doing something a bit more useful and, frankly, a bit more rewarding. I’m now lucky enough to be working with a portfolio of clients in a variety of industries who share a desire to get on but who also believe it’s important to have fun in the process. We’re all constantly striving for that elusive work life balance and I aim to help you get there.
