Churchgate Cottage is a Grade 2 listed cottages situated right in the heart of the olde-worlde village of Crantock near Newquay. The full history of the cottages is not known but it is understood that they were put to many uses over its years including a schoolhouse and poorhouse. The most well-known fact locally is that the building used to be a bakehouse for the monastery that stood on the site of the church.
