The aim of School of Sign Language was and still is to break down the barriers between the Deaf and hearing community and raise the awareness of British Sign Language, which is an interesting and unique method of communication.
Ayesha Communications was created in 2010 in response to many enquiries about private tuition in British Sign Language and Deaf Awareness for individuals and small groups and we are a registered and approved centre with Signature, the awarding body in Sign Language qualifications.
Founded and still working in Lancashire (in the north west of England) and in other parts of the UK, our work now extends as far as Kathmandu in Nepal and Nkozi in Uganda. At the centre of all of our work is an understanding of and respect for sign language, the Deaf community and Deaf culture.
