Norwood was established in 1999; initially as an electrical safety testing company helping companies to ensure they meet the requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations Act 1989 by our Managing Director Justin Shuttlewood.
We are based in Heanor and serve clients throughout the East Midlands. We are accredited through the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) as a Part P Registered Domestic Installer. We are also a member of Derbyshire County Council’s Trusted Traders Scheme. This means that you can be sure that all of our installations meet the current IEE wiring regulations (17th Edition) and are fully tested and certified on completion.
We currently work for major home builder contractors such as Persimmon Homes, Fosse Homes, Benfield Homes, Haywood Exclusive Homes, Stamford Homes and Charles Church Homes completing all the electrical installations on their newly built properties.
