The original surgery on this site was started by Esther Denham MRCVS and was one of the first solely small animal practices set up in the UK. The practice has been on the present site since the 1950’s.
We are a small animal vets in Baldock serving the town and surrounding district's pets and people. Baldock Veterinary Centre is a privately owned and family run practice dedicated to providing the best care for dogs, cats, rabbits and exotic pets.
Both Alan and Rene Shackleton worked in South Africa, Suffolk and finally Bedfordshire. We both feel passionately that we have a calling to keep pets healthy and provide the best possible treatment. The only way to do this is to keep up to date with new useful knowledge and get the best equipment to do our work properly.
We provide our own out of hours service on-site, in familiar surroundings and with our own team of vets and nurses. If your pet falls ill or is injured, rest assured Scott Veterinary Clinic will be there for you, whatever the time of day.
