Philippa graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1981 and gained a post graduate qualification in Manipulative Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 1986. She was awarded with a life membership of the Physiotherapy Pain Association UK in 2007 for her contribution to the production of the Topical Issues In Pain book series (1998-2006).
