I was born and bred in London from German and Iranian parents where I got the earliest possible education in massage, sat behind my mother on the back of the sofa giving her massage as she watched television. I did this for years, probably til I was too big to sit on the back of the sofa, earning 1p a minute. As a child I mistakenly thought that if I worked an hour i'd get a pound until I was corrected that there were only 60 minutes in an hour.
