Yoga found me when I needed it most, its a strange thing that tends to happen and I’ve often heard the same from others since. It came at a time in my life when I was sick and tired of corporate working life, feeling tired and lacking motivation I knew I had to start listening to my body and follow my gut. Having tried to be a miserable gym bunny or scowling jogger I saw an ad for a local yoga studio and thought hey ho lets give it a go, it might be good. It was instant, I didn't really know what I was doing but I knew it was exactly what I needed, my body started to soften and my mind started to calm. I progressed and after a few years of practice I realised I wanted more and enrolled on an Advanced Training course. This fed my hunger for more knowledge and without ever intending to become a teacher I found my love for yoga was clearly going to be bigger than a hobby to stay flexible. I took a deep breath and joined the Yoga Teacher Training group.
