Yoga Ananda Holistic Centre offers a good mix of yoga, tai chi, some pilates and dance. There is also an eclectic mix of holistic therapies. The first aim is to serve the local community, but the vision doesn't stop there. In addition to international speakers and special teachers running programs and workshops at the Centre, the Centre is supporting local charities, and Vanamali Devi's village project in Rishikesh, as well as supporting the local charity St Catherine's Hospice and the British Heart Foundation. The Yoga Ananda Holistic Centre aims to make a real difference to people's lives. We hope to raise the consciousness in this corner of England and also to take advantage of proximity to Gatwick Airport (20 min by train) to attract national and international students with world-class activities. The Centre has spiritual connections to both the Sivananda, Kriya Yoga and Vedanta traditions, and welcomes teachers from all the differnt modern styles of yoga - so there is truly something for everyone. We have community meditation classes covering many forms of meditation practise, regular satsangs or get-togethers for spiritual seekers at which various topics can be discussed.
