She has since used digital as her main medium. Specialising in documentary, music and portrait photography; she focuses on experimentation with colour and atmosphere. As a form of practice when her daughter was a baby, she turned to self portraiture and photographing inanimate objects. Something she has a continued love for today. She takes inspiration from films, her surroundings and quite often, her mood plays a role in the execution of her portraits. Describing her landscape work as moody and bleak; she opts for an abstract approach over typical beauty. In 2012, she set up Wrapped in Plastic Photography, taking inspiration from David Lynch’s tv series, ‘Twin Peaks’.
