One of the advantages these manufacturers have is there long established commitment and skill with producing timber floors — they are now translating the rarity, looks and tactile feel of real wooden floors into man made materials such as vinyl, high density timber, compressed wood and even laminate or laminatboden as the Germans say. Their highest aims are sustainability — great looks — durability — easy to clean and protecting the Worlds resources. Some great intentions but I think they look on it as great business for the future too. Research, change and development with their customers in mind. Floors for the ever-changing needs of not just today but also tomorrows buyers — Floors that last — can look the same in 10 years as they look now — are easy to maintain and look very special in the modern Home.
