We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalisation ward, and kennels. At Wilson's, we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care as well, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. To gain a place on a university course to train as a vet, you must normally have at least three A-levels at grade A. These must include Chemistry, with the other subjects including Biology, Physics or Maths. Training is a five year course at Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Bristol and London and a 6 year course at Cambridge. All courses involve a lot of holidays being spent on work experience at vet surgeries and farms.
