Wigram and Ware is owned by Jennifer Morigi and Stuart Andrews and was founded in 1959. Jennifer originally qualified as a Dispensing Optician and has been a partner in the business since 1983. Stuart qualified as a Optometrist in 1999 and has been a partner in the business since 2002. The practice has operated in Bury St. Edmunds since 1959 and from the Central Walk premises since 1974. We are the only opticians in town to have an Optomap scanner and an OCT scanner. These instruments allow us to monitor your eye health in a much more comprehensive manor. This allows us to diagnose and deal with changes in the eye much earlier before they become a problem. Our large, welcoming dispensing area shows off our great range of spectacle frames. Under the watchful eye of Jennifer and Christine we carefully select interesting frames from around the world. We offer a genuine bespoke service to ensure a perfect frame design and fit and all dispensing is undertaken by fully qualified staff.
