No wonder why an embroidered quilt or a dress or just a regular piece of cloth with embroidery used to be such a valued present in the past, with people giving it to newlyweds like a wedding gift. Nowadays, embroidery is as beautiful as it ever was if not maybe even a bit more evolved actually. Thanks to embroidery machines being invented, the time and effort required for creating such a project was cut drastically and now you don't need a couple of months to make an embroidered product. Perhaps the overall appreciation of embroidery has gotten reduced compared to past times but even so, embroidery is still held in high regard in the sewing world. That is why a simple or plain sewing product can get a high price tag just because it has a pretty pattern embroidered on itself.
