Websters is a family business run by husband and wife team Michael and Ann with the help of their two sons Andrew and Mark. The family have been in business since 1986 when Michael opened their first fish and chip business in Allerton, Bradford. Enjoying the business so much Michael decided to branch out and in 1994 opened another takeaway shop on the high street in Saltaire — the famous and architecturally beautiful mill village. In 1999 when Ann joined the business, they sold Allerton, and opened new premises in Baildon, the restaurant currently seats 50 people and has a takeaway — well fish and chips wouldn’t be right unless you could eat them out of the paper sometimes!
