Sarah Potterton received a grant in 2011 from the Rural Development Programme to build the Waveney Gallery and create a space for local groups and artists to display their work. The gallery was built on the site of Blacksmiths Cottage Nursery, an RHS award winning plant nursery, and Shorelands Wildlife Gardens, a small zoo set within 2 acres of ornamental gardens. With the development of the gallery and other businesses joining the site we have now created a rural hub, with several small businesses sharing the site and facilities to give visitors even more to see and do while supporting local, independent, rural businesses. 5 businesses now share the site, please select there individual websites below for more details, or continue to explore our website and see what the gallery has to offer.
