Children learn the languages through songs, stories, games and activities in a relaxed, fun environment. The children think that they are playing and don’t realise that they are also learning. Emphasis is put on accents and children are encouraged to have a go at role play in preparation for using the language abroad. Every academic year, we perform an annual concert inviting parents and teachers to watch. Younger children sing action songs and older children perform a short play. All children receive a certificate of attendance and some receive a special award for achievement. The clubs are not only about learning a language but growing in confidence and developing self-esteem.
