Advanced plans for a smooth and successful transition to alternative schools are now in place in collaboration with the Local Authority for our young people. The majority of students are confirmed as placed and will start to join their new schools imminently in preparation for September. Many students have opted to join other UTCs in the surrounding area, including Warrington and Bolton UTC to continue their specialist education. We are immensely grateful for the support of colleagues in the Department, the Local Authority and neighbouring secondary schools during this time, and to our students and their families for their understanding.
