I have been interested in the human body and how it works for as long as I can remember and since qualifying as a therapist I have never looked back. I have discovered a wonderful means of helping people on so many levels. We are all affected by stress in our daily lives, whether it be everyday stresses such as work, home and children or an accumulation of more intense and difficult to deal with stresses like a bereavement or divorce. We all know that a small amount of stress can be a good thing, and motivate us to achieve our goals. However prolonged stress can be detrimental to our health. It is as if we are on over drive the whole time. Left un-treated we can eventually burn out. Our bodies reflect our state of tension, and this can be noticed in the muscles, which tighten and cause problems such as headaches, stiff neck, back and shoulders. This tension in turn inhibits our circulation, digestion , in fact every system in our bodies. We all need time to allow our bodies to recuperate. I treat people of all ages, male and female, young and old. I have built up a large client base and have many people who now attend on a regular basis as they recognise the benefits they get by looking after themselves. I use my therapies separately, or sometimes I combine them, to give my clients the treatment that best suits their needs.
