In 2007 I decided to go it alone and opened my own boutique This or Die in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, specialising in British heritage brands and vintage accessories. In 2012 we were proud to be awarded runner up in the Customer Service category at the Northamptonshire Business awards. In 2013 I closed the bricks and mortar boutique to spend more time with my two young children and whilst still selling vintage online, went on to fulfil a personal ambition of working at Northampton Shoe Museum. I now combine my two loves of retail and shoe design by running This or Die boutique as a rather fabulous online Ebay store (along with a space at My Little Vintage Earls Barton) and also teaching one-day sewing and shoe makeover workshops around the county and beyond!
