The Norfolk Yoga Centre evolved from a drawing (it's a long story!) whilst we were living and studying in Japan. We had started practicing yoga and meditation in earnest and dreamed one day of having our own place where we could share the benefits of this practice. This was in 1998. It took a while but here we are with a dream realised, not completely, but it is a start. We re-located from Tokyo to London to Cambridge and stumbled upon what would become our home and The Weekend Yoga Place in 2010. It needed a lot of work and plenty of TLC. Through vintage markets and second hand shops we slowly renovated the house and brought it back to life. Weekly yoga classes grew and so our name changed to The Norfolk Yoga Centre. Michael and Camilla are keen advocates of 'community tourism' they encourage their students to spend time browsing in the local bookshop, market, coffee shops and restaurants.
