I started the company because I wanted to spend more time outdoors in nature and away from an office desk. So in November 2007 The Urban Gardeners was born. I started my gardening career by taking on jobs in local private gardens, learning quickly! By evening I studied for City and Guilds Gardening Certificates, moving on to gain my RHS General Certificate. I started to win more gardening maintenance contracts for large residential managed blocks, and I also enjoyed designing and planting up many private gardens. It's great sharing in the delight of clients when they see their transformed gardens!
