After qualifying from the British School of Osteopathy in London in 1989, Mary spent a year working as a locum osteopath throughout the UK. She then worked in London, Surbiton and Mitcham, before establishing her own practices, first in South Wimbledon and then in Chessington, Surrey. During this time she did underpaid work with the London Olympians American Football Team and spent four years working part-time at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in Harley Street. In 2003 Mary took a sabbatical in New Zealand, where she treated a diverse range of patients including bee keepers, Maori fishermen and ski instructors before returning to more familiar faces in Hest Bank. Mary specialises in the treatment of children and has continued to study in Paediatric Osteopathy. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, swimming, walking, rowing and reading.
