Carl has a special interest in the care of diabetics, and as a member of the British Contact Lens Association, will supply and fit most types of contact lenses. As one of the founders and first chairman of the Peterborough Optical Society, he helped set up the "one stop" cataract service that has so transformed the waiting times for this type of surgery at Peterborough Hospital.
